This year for my Love/Valentine’s special project, I used Prismacolor soft core colored pencils with Acrylic highlights to celebrate the intricate designs of color and overlapping rows that give each butterfly its unique beauty.

The Tree Nymph butterfly is native to Southeast Asia. It is also called a paper kite or the rice paper butterfly. It is toxic to predators because of the species of plants on which it feeds.

This one-of-a-kind artistic depiction of a winged beauty will enlighten and brighten any space.
