This year for my Love/Valentine’s special project, I used Prismacolor soft core colored pencils with Acrylic highlights to celebrate the intricate designs of color and overlapping rows that give each butterfly its unique beauty.

The Longwing Postman butterfly is native to Central and South America. The coloring and design of the longwing in this work are only seen in Central America, but in South America, there are wide variations of color and patterns

This one-of-a-kind artistic depiction of a winged beauty will enlighten and brighten any space.
