My home in Colorado is a rabbit-filled haven that I have likened to one of my favorite books from the 1970s, Watership Down. The name of this painting, "Fiver", is a homage to a rabbit portrayed in the book. One of the main characters, Fiver, has a sixth sense of foreseeing events and has a sensitive, somewhat passive personality. Likewise, the rabbit that lives by my home has a "sixth sense" unique diamond tuff on its head. Plus, I have observed its gentle, calm nature, similar to the book character; both attributes have inspired this painting and the name.
