Annual Valentine Love Day Out of the Box Project: "Ooh La La Orchids"
Every year I develop a unique series to celebrate the love of a Valentine. These small and affordable originals are made with materials other than oil on canvas. This year, I used watercolor on watercolor paper. These seven came to life with a compositional play between the allure of the flower's intricate forms and patterned backgrounds. Each 5 x 8-inch original depicts the artistry of the orchid.

Every year I create, with love, a unique series of affordable works celebrating Valentine’s. The works made with mediums other than oil on canvas, watercolor, encaustic, printmaking, and on. This year, I am working with prisma colored pencils depicting soft renderings of roses.
