Annual Valentine Love Series: Romancing the Rose Collection
This year, I created velvety, close-up renderings of roses, using oil-based Prismacolor colored pencils, in a serene monochromatic color scheme. By drawing small circles in a gentle layering technique, I achieved subtle shading from light to dark. The rose is an iconic symbol of romance and Valentine's Day, rendered with textural depth and softness in this original artwork.
